Kosta Browne Winery Dinner at Blue Water Cafe

We are delighted to welcome Dan Kosta, co-founder of California’s Kosta Browne Winery for a very unique evening of food and wine.

Our award-winning Executive Chef Frank Pabst will craft a multi-course menu to complement the exclusive line-up of Kosta Browne wines – as Dan Kosta speaks to the history of the estate, specific winemaking methods and his true passion for the pinot noir varietal. Seamless service will be directed by Restaurant Director Stephan Cachard.

Kosta Browne Winery, honoured with Wine Spectator’s “Wine of the Year” in 2012 for their 2009 Sonoma Coast, began as a dream shared by Mr. Kosta and executive winemaker Michael Browne. Since 1997, the duo has nurtured relationships with the best growers, while honing their winemaking skills with a continued focus on their founding vision. “In the last decade, no other winery in California has promoted the varietal of pinot noir quite like Kosta Browne”, says Andrea Vescovi.

The proof is in the bottle: the wines served at this dinner represent a cross-section of Kosta Browne’s production, consistently scoring in the mid nineties in numerous rankings, with the Gap’s Crown Vineyard rated at 94 by Wine Spectator. This is a great opportunity to taste their single vineyard offerings, which are extremely rare and have attracted a well deserved following.
