Fall For Thierry’s New Autumn Menu
– Salted Caramel Takes Centre Stage on Seasonal Menu –
Vancouver, B.C. (September 29th, 2015) – Move over Pumpkin Spice; Salted Caramel has arrived as this year’s fall favourite. Based on Thierry Cafe’s best selling macaron, Chef Thierry is using his signature house-made salted caramel to create a new seasonal menu of specialty coffees and cocktails, plus three stunning desserts to accompany them, just in time for autumn.
The new Salted Caramel Latte, comprised of double espresso with Thierry’s signature salted caramel sauce plus dashes of sea salt and brown sugar, is an ideal indulgence for coffee connoisseurs. For chocolate lovers, the Salted Caramel Mocha offers a refined, traditional caffè mocha latte infused with salted caramel sauce and topped with a light shake of cocoa and sea salt – the perfect balance of salty and sweet. And for those who wish to spice it up a little, Thierry’s Salted Caramel Chai – house-made chai blended with salted caramel sauce then sprinkled with cinnamon and sea salt – will do just that. To warm one’s spirits as the days turn cooler, the Salted Caramel Apple Cocktail offers house-made chai with salted caramel sauce, and a tincture of Manzana green apple liqueur and Brugal Dominican rum.
What better way to enjoy a cuppa on a cool fall day than a trifecta of new desserts? To accompany his salted caramel beverages, Chef Thierry is introducing the seasonal Morello Cherry and Pistachio Macaron Cake – a chocolate macaron shell with Morello cherry buttercream filling, topped with pistachio whipped cream and Morello cherry jam – and the candied orange and pistachio sable garnished Ginger Crème Brule. And back by popular demand, Thierry’s Opera Cake, made of rich layers of delicate hazelnut sponge, chocolate ganache, and coffee buttercream.
