Top Table’s Jack Evrensel Honored in Toronto

Foodservice + Hospitality Magazine Honours Jack Evrensel as their ‘Restaurateur of the Year in Canada’

Vancouver, BC: Out of the box thinking, progressive ideas and a commitment to absolute excellence have earned restaurant veteran, Jack Evrensel a place in Foodservice and Hospitality Magazine’s “winner’s circle.” The highly-respected industry publication named Evrensel ‘Restaurateur of the Year’ for his contribution in shaping the face of fine dining in Canada.

Evrensel was honoured by a group of his peers 500 strong at the 18th Annual Pinnacle Awards Banquet held in Toronto at the Fairmont Royal York on December 4th. “I would like to accept this award on behalf of everyone I work with in Vancouver and Whistler,” said Evrensel, who credits the many talented individuals that make Araxi, CinCin, Blue Water Cafe and West some of the very best restaurants in the nation.

For Evrensel, the pursuit of excellence means living each day to its fullest and being open to whatever comes his way. “Everything influences you – some good, some bad. The important thing is to be open to ideas and never compromise.”
