West Restaurant Welcomes Back David Hawksworth For A Special Farewell Dinner

WEST RESTAURANT WELCOMES BACK DAVID HAWKSWORTH FOR A SPECIAL FAREWELL DINNER

Vancouver, B.C. (November 18th, 2019) – From now until the end of December, West Restaurant is celebrating its twenty years on South Granville with a series of guest appearances of Executive Chefs, Pastry Chefs, and Bar Managers. This storied restaurant has been privileged to have had so many talented men and women from both the front and back-of-house welcome guests through its doors over its two decades on Granville Street.
To kick things off, Toptable Group’s very own Executive Chef Quang Dang returns to his former West kitchen on November 27th. Throughout his time at West, his eponymous cooking shone a light on a community of regional producers who brought their passion to every plate. Make a reservation by calling Restaurant Director, Owen Knowlton at 604 738 8938 for this five-course prix fixe menu and drop by the pass to catch Chef Quang in action with the brigade.

On December 3rd, West’s Executive Chef Bobby Milheron invites Chef David Hawksworth back for a nostalgic evening of signature dishes that have graced the menus from his time at the restaurant. Join Chef David for an exquisite menu that launched West’s acclaim with many restaurant accolades such as multiple Vancouver Magazine’s Restaurant of the Year achievements.
Tickets to this auspicious dinner are $150 per person, plus taxes and can be purchased by directly calling Restaurant Director, Owen Knowlton. Besides a dining experience down memory lane, guests will be supporting the Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship as partial proceeds benefit this worthy cause. Reservations are available from 5:30 pm for this special evening’s five-course dinner.
In addition to the chefs’ dinner tributes, West will also host two delightful evenings featuring our friends at the bar who have crafted signature cocktails throughout the many years. On November 28th, Spirits Portfolio Ambassador, Colin MacDougall rejoins West’s own Bar Manager, Stacey Ackerman behind the wood to toast his time at West. Join in the fun on December 5th as Brand Ambassadors, Sabrine Dhaliwal and Kevin Brownlee guest bartend for the night. Be prepared to sip some guest favourites that run the gamut from a Kaffir Fling to a Vieux Carre.
